Purely Christmas love the festive season! The business was founded by Judy Sellwood, who has spent 15 years in retail. Judy wanted to offer Christmas decorations that capture the magic and joy of the season. Purely Christmas engaged Confetti Design to build an e-commerce website that distinguished their business. Judy wanted her customers to browse individual Christmas decorations or to purchase one of her specially curated Christmas decorating sets.

The Strategy

Confetti Design was engaged to design and build the website including all product information pages. We designed and built individual shop pages that included variations, given the large number of products on offer. We worked dynamically with Judy, who was active in populating the product with content as the pages were built. The website was developed to enable the upload of one product per category that included product descriptions and product variations, with the shop sorting functions available for colour and material. This enabled Confetti Design to launch the website within four weeks. Confetti Design developed a mega menu dropdown for better product navigation for customers. This e-commerce website was integrated with a shopping cart and payment gateway.
The team at Confetti Design has built a large number of e-commerce websites and we know the benefit keyword analysis and research. The engagement with Confetti Design include keyword research for the Christmas products, including a list of recommended keywords for both the website content and for on-going blogging to achieve ranking goals. The site map that was recommended included recommendations for ranking including page URLs. Meta data was created for the core information pages and descriptions for Yoast included.
