The Story Behind Confetti
I started Confetti because small businesses deserved better.
Before starting Confetti Design in 2014, I spent 15 years working with large organisations, translating corporate brands into marketing that actually connected with customers. I saw first-hand how much strategy, craft and attention goes into the websites that perform – and how rarely small businesses got access to that thinking.
I started Confetti because I believed small businesses deserved the same quality of thinking that big brands took for granted. Ten years and 700+ websites later, that’s still what drives every project. Every enquiry that comes through lands directly with me. I read it, look at your existing site, understand your business, and give you advice that’s actually useful — before you’ve committed to anything.
How i work
Most web designers take a brief and start designing.
I start with a different question: what does this website need to achieve, and for whom? Every Confetti project begins with the Clarity Process — a structured discovery phase where we map your business goals, your ideal clients, and what’s standing between where you are now and where you want to be. Website design decisions flow from that understanding, not from trend or template. The result is a website that looks like your business, speaks to your customers, and is built to generate the enquiries, sales or bookings your business needs.
